To all Friends of Aransas and Matagorda Island NWR (FAMI)

Here we are at the start of a promising new year.

Although still limited in some activities, the Refuge is doing well and open for exploration with much to come in 2022.

Learn about the current state of the Refuge, the new Visitor Center, other new buildings, and volunteer opportunities at the Friends Annual Meeting, Saturday, January 22 at 10:00 (conducted virtually).

The Refuge staff will present a full update presentation.

We will also share plans for the Friends group in support of the Refuge and will elect board members.
